Multi-Site Porter/Groundskeeper (San Artes/San Bellara)
About The Position
Mark-Taylor is hiring a Multi-Site Facilities Technician (Porter/Groundskeeper) to work at the San Artes and San Bellara communities in Scottsdale, Arizona. The role represents Mark-Taylor by delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the cleanliness and curb appeal of community grounds and interiors. The position includes maintaining grounds, amenities, building exteriors, common areas, and work areas; removing trash; completing property walks and landscaping assessments; and performing routine cleaning and janitorial tasks. The stated anticipated base pay is $19.00 per hour. Employees undergo pre-employment screening that includes drug testing. Housing discounts are subject to availability at each community.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Willingness to work cohesively as part of a team.
- Ability to interact positively and courteously with team members and residents.
- Basic understanding of written and verbal English.
- Prior experience as a groundskeeper, landscaper, porter, or in a related position is especially desirable.

Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of community grounds and work areas throughout the day, using clean-as-you-go procedures.
- Maintain grounds, amenities, building exteriors, dumpster areas, parking lots, and other community buildings.
- Remove trash from exterior grounds, trash containers, and vacant apartments before the make-ready process.
- Complete opening and closing duties, including property walks and landscaping assessments.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and upkeep of pools, tot lots, light fixtures, breezeways, amenity areas, and BBQ grills.
- Perform janitorial tasks, including power washing and light exterior painting of speed bumps, curbs, and similar areas.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of community grounds.
- Represent Mark-Taylor by delivering exceptional customer service.
