About The Position

Mark-Taylor is hiring a Multi-Site Facilities Technician (Porter/Groundskeeper) to work at its POD 5 communities—San Marbeya, San Cervantes, and San Palacio—in Chandler and Tempe, Arizona. The role represents Mark-Taylor through exceptional customer service and supports the cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal of community grounds, interiors, and shared spaces. The position involves independent daily task management as well as working cohesively with a team. Prior experience as a groundskeeper, landscaper, porter, or in a related role is desirable. The stated base pay is $19.00 per hour. Employees undergo pre-employment screening, including drug testing. Housing discounts are subject to availability at each community; benefits listed are offered to full-time employees.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of community grounds and work areas throughout the day, following clean-as-you-go procedures.
• Maintain grounds, amenities, building exteriors, dumpster areas, parking lots, and other community buildings.
• Remove trash from exterior grounds, trash containers, and vacant apartments before the make-ready process.
• Complete opening and closing duties, including property walks and landscaping assessments.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and upkeep of pools, tot lots, light fixtures, breezeways, amenity areas, and BBQ grills.
• Perform janitorial tasks, including power washing and light exterior painting of items such as speed bumps and curbs.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of community grounds.
• Provide exceptional customer service while representing Mark-Taylor.
