About The Position
Mark-Taylor is hiring a Multi-Site Facilities Technician (Porter/Groundskeeper) for its POD 5 communities: San Marbeya, San Cervantes, and San Palacio in Chandler and Tempe, Arizona. The role works at one of the communities and represents Mark-Taylor by delivering exceptional customer service while helping maintain clean, attractive grounds and interiors. The position involves general groundskeeping, cleaning, upkeep, sanitation, and opening and closing property duties.
Requirements

- Ability to perform general groundskeeping, cleaning, and upkeep.
- Ability to work independently while managing daily tasks and priorities.
- Dependable and proactive, with a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and guests.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Willingness to work cohesively as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of written and spoken English.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as a groundskeeper, landscaper, porter, or in a related position.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of community grounds and work areas throughout the day, following clean-as-you-go procedures.
- Maintain grounds, amenities, building exteriors, dumpster areas, parking lots, and other community buildings.
- Remove trash from exterior grounds, trash containers, and vacant apartments before the make-ready process.
- Complete opening and closing duties, including property walks and landscaping assessments.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and upkeep of pools, tot lots, light fixtures, breezeways, amenity areas, and BBQ grills.
- Perform janitorial tasks, including power washing and light exterior painting of speed bumps, curbs, and similar areas.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of community grounds.
