About The Position

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a Popcorn Cook to join its team at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. The role is responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving fresh popcorn while maintaining food quality, food safety, cleanliness, and guest service standards. TD Garden is a sports and entertainment arena that hosts more than 200 events annually and welcomes over 3.5 million visitors.

Requirements

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and event schedules as needed.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Previous food service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare event-ordered quantities of popcorn for each event.
• Operate popcorn machines and related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor product quality, freshness, appearance, and inventory levels throughout the event.
• Clean and sanitize popcorn machines, workstations, utensils, and surrounding areas before, during, and after shifts.
• Restock popcorn supplies, seasonings, bags, oil, kernels, and other necessary items.
• Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service to guests and team members.
• Follow company, venue, health department, and safety regulations.
• Promptly report equipment issues, maintenance concerns, or inventory shortages to management.
