About The Position

The Pool Bar - DRA / Busser AM maintains high guest-service standards by providing quick, efficient, and professional food-running and buffet-attendant services. The role includes delivering food accurately, setting up and maintaining the breakfast buffet, managing supplies and product storage, and supporting food and beverage operations. The position works in hotel interiors and exteriors, including the restaurant and kitchen.

Requirements

At least 1 year of work-related experience.
Good eye-hand coordination for using kitchen equipment.
Working knowledge of sanitation standards.
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
Ability to remain on one's feet for up to eight hours.

Responsibilities

Know service times, menu items, floor plan, table numbers, and seat numbers.
Verify that each order on the ticket is complete against items on the cold and hot lines.
Deliver food to the correct tables according to the ticket, floor plan, and seat numbers.
Ask guests whether they need additional service upon delivery and inform the server or manager.
Set up the expo line with the items specified for the shift.
Consult a supervisor about food-delivery difficulties.
Complete assigned side duties and minimize breakage.
Attend designated staff meetings and training sessions.
Set up and break down the breakfast buffet within the allotted time.
Maintain and replenish breakfast buffet items, keeping them full, clean, and presentable.
Secure breakfast service equipment, such as platters, butter dishes, and bread knives, as directed by the manager or shift instructions.
Place and receive warehouse orders daily and maintain appropriate product par levels.
Ensure products are within date and use FIFO storage practices.
Prepare daily requisitions for production supplies and food items.
Work cohesively with hotel staff as part of a team.
Support food and beverage portion and waste-control procedures.
Maintain coolers, freezers, prep areas, and equipment in compliance with State of Florida Health Department codes.
Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
