About The Position
The Polysomnographic Tech performs sleep studies, calibrates and maintains equipment, and educates patients, families, and other care providers. The role includes patient care activities and other tasks that contribute to high-quality, safe, and effective patient care. The technologist works under the supervision of the Sleep Lab Manager and Medical Director. This is a full-time, night-shift position in the Sleep Center in Topeka, Kansas.
Requirements
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPGST), or Respiratory Therapist (RT/RRT) with SDS certification within 1 year.
- Obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.
