About The Position
The Polysomnographic Tech (RPSGT) performs comprehensive polysomnographic evaluations and associated interventions for sleep disorders under the general oversight of a physician and in accordance with sleep center policies. The schedule varies, and the standard weekly hours are 6.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of experience, or graduation from an accredited Polysomnography Program.
- Current registration as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) granted by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT).
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive polysomnographic evaluations of sleep disorders.
- Perform associated interventions for sleep disorders.
- Work under the general oversight of the physician and follow sleep center policies.
