About The Position
The Polysomnographic Tech (RPSGT) performs comprehensive polysomnographic evaluation and associated interventions of sleep disorders under the general oversight of the physician and sleep center policies. The schedule varies. This position is based at the Medical Center in Fort Worth, in the Sleep Study department.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent and one year of experience, or graduation from an accredited Polysomnography Program.
- Current registration as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) granted by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT).
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive polysomnographic evaluations of sleep disorders.
- Perform associated interventions for sleep disorders.
