About The Position

Lead and oversee point-of-care testing operations to ensure accurate, timely results that support safe and effective patient care across multiple departments. Train and support clinical staff performing bedside testing to maintain competency, confidence, and compliance with quality and safety standards. Monitor testing quality, equipment performance, and supply levels to prevent delays and ensure uninterrupted patient care. Identify and resolve testing or equipment issues quickly by coordinating service, troubleshooting errors, and maintaining reliable diagnostic workflows. Audit and maintain documentation and compliance processes to uphold regulatory standards and ensure readiness for inspections and quality reviews.

Requirements

  • Medical Technologist (ASCP) credentialed from the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP-BOC) preferred.
  • Laboratory Tech credentialed from the American Board of Bioanalysis (AAB) preferred.
  • Laboratory Tech credentialed from the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP-BOC) preferred.
  • Medical Lab Scientist (ASCP) credentialed from the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP-BOC) preferred.
  • Medical Tech credentialed from the American Board of Bioanalysis (AAB) preferred.
  • Medical Tech credentialed from the American Medical Technologists (AMT) preferred.
  • Associate’s degree in medical technology, medical laboratory scientist, human sciences; or completed a military 50-60 week technician program and meets the minimum CLIA requirements; OR education qualifications as stated per CLIA requirements required.
  • 2 years experience required.
  • Minimum 2 years of lab experience.
