About The Position

Optiveum is recruiting and contracting a PMO Consultant to join a client in the banking industry. The role supports the Project Manager in delivering a project whose scope and complexity have grown significantly. In addition to day-to-day project support, the consultant will own assigned workstreams and independently drive tasks to completion with minimal supervision. The cooperation agreement will be signed directly with Optiveum.

The position is full-time (40 hours per week) and hybrid, with three days per week in the office. The listed locations are Gdańsk, Gdynia, Warsaw, or Łódź. The rate is up to 110 PLN per hour net on a B2B basis.

Requirements

• Experience in a PMO, project coordination, or project management role.
• Experience in the financial sector or another highly regulated industry.
• Practical knowledge of planning, reporting, risk management, and portfolio management.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to facilitate dialogue, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
• A proactive, resilient, flexible, and structured approach; comfort working autonomously.
• Openness to change, willingness to challenge the status quo, and ability to bring different perspectives.
• Strong collaboration skills and a growth mindset.
• Fluent English.
• Willingness to provide a criminal record certificate.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in day-to-day project delivery and PMO activities.
• Take ownership of assigned workstreams and drive them to completion with minimal supervision.
• Plan projects and track milestones, dependencies, and actions.
• Identify, monitor, and manage risks and issues.
• Prepare project and portfolio reporting and presentations for stakeholders and governance forums.
• Facilitate dialogue, decision-making, and conflict resolution across teams.
• Analyse complex problems and propose practical, innovative solutions.
• Keep stakeholders engaged and aligned, and continuously improve ways of working.
