PM Route Driver | Non-CDL Box Truck $3k SIGN ON BONUS (7179)
About The Position
Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is hiring a dependable, safety-minded PM Route Driver to support healthcare routes in the Sturtevant, Wisconsin area. The driver collects and transports medical waste and sharps containers and delivers professional customer service to healthcare facilities. The role involves operating company vehicles up to 26-foot box trucks, managing local routes, and supporting hospitals and healthcare professionals. This is a permanent, full-time position of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, on a second shift from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The job requires loading and unloading containers, with heavy lifting. Pay is a set rate based on license type: $28 per hour for non-CDL, $29 per hour for CDL, or $30 per hour for CDL with a HAZMAT endorsement. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered. Full-time roles include benefits, sick leave, and vacation leave from day one.
Requirements
- Valid Class B CDL or a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and a DOT medical card.
- Experience operating vehicles up to 26-foot box trucks.
- Familiarity with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections.
- Confidence completing Level 1–3 DOT road checks.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and proven tenure with past employers.
- Customer-focused mindset and a flexible, can-do attitude.
- Commitment to safe driving and on-time delivery practices.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting.
Responsibilities
- Safely collect, transport, and store medical waste and sharps containers.

- Manage assigned local routes and provide timely, reliable service.
- Complete deliveries according to schedule and communicate route changes or issues.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain DOT compliance, including logs and roadside inspections.
- Load and unload containers throughout the day.
- Organize and prioritize the truck based on route needs.
- Build positive relationships with healthcare customers through professional, friendly service.
