About The Position

The Box Truck Driver works a night route delivering linen products to customers, with a home-daily schedule from Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The role is based in Martinsburg, West Virginia, and the route serves the Baltimore area. Drivers load linen carts onto trucks, deliver products promptly, and maintain clean, organized storage areas while ensuring customers have enough linen for daily needs. At the direction of the Service Manager, the driver regularly completes, documents, and maintains a full inventory for each customer. Safe driving within legal speed limits is required at all times. Schedules may be adjusted based on route times and driver performance. The position pays $22.54 per hour and includes a signing bonus and benefits.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent box truck driving experience.
• Valid driver's license and meeting all DOT requirements.
• Physically able to perform the duties of the position, including pushing linen carts weighing up to 450 pounds and lifting 30 pounds overhead.
• Able to drive at night and on holidays and weekends.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong load organization skills.

Nice To Haves

• Overnight driving experience.
• City driving experience, particularly for the Baltimore-area route.

Responsibilities

• Load linen carts onto trucks.
• Deliver products to customers in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized storage area and ensure customers have enough linen for daily needs.
• Complete, document, and maintain a full inventory for each customer regularly, at the direction of the Service Manager.
• Operate the box truck safely and within legal speed limits at all times.
• Load and unload up to 70 carts per night.
• Verify cart tickets and deliver each cart to the correct account.
• Organize and rearrange carts throughout the route to keep deliveries accessible and prevent missed carts.
