About The Position

HandCraft Services is hiring a Box Truck Driver to deliver linen products to customers on an overnight route serving the Baltimore area. The position is based in Martinsburg, West Virginia, with a Tuesday–Saturday schedule from 12:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Drivers load linen carts, make timely customer deliveries, maintain clean and organized storage areas, and ensure customers have sufficient linen for daily needs. They also complete and document customer inventories regularly as directed by the Service Manager. Safe operation within legal speed limits is required at all times. Schedules may be adjusted based on route times and performance.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent box truck driving experience.
• Valid driver's license and compliance with all DOT requirements.
• Ability to drive nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to push linen carts weighing up to 450 pounds and lift 30 pounds overhead.
• Ability to load and unload up to 70 carts per night.
• Strong attention to detail and load-organization skills.

Nice To Haves

• Overnight driving experience.
• City driving experience, particularly for routes servicing the Baltimore area.

Responsibilities

• Load linen carts onto trucks and load and unload up to 70 carts per night.
• Deliver products to customers in a timely manner.
• Maintain clean and organized customer storage areas and ensure customers have enough linen for daily needs.
• Complete, document, and maintain customer inventories regularly as directed by the Service Manager.
• Operate the box truck safely and within legal speed limits.
• Verify cart tickets and deliver each cart to the correct account.
• Organize and rearrange carts during the route so deliveries remain accessible and carts are not missed.
