About The Position

This position provides culinary support in Ravello, a modern Italian restaurant at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort. The restaurant offers guests offerings like house-made pasta, pizza, and limoncello, with ingredients often imported from Italy. The role involves working primarily with the hot station, including cooking meats, preparing warm items, and building inventory lists and strategic overviews of preparation for the specific outlet. The cook may also rotate among different outlets based on occupancy, events, and the resort's overall needs.

Requirements

Prior experience with a grill, sauté, and knowledge of advanced knife cuts are required
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, large team environment
Flexible and available when extensive work hours are required
A sincere willingness to provide service to residents, guests, and peers.
Good organizational skills, with the ability to work independently.
Ability to function well under pressure, set priorities and adjust to changing conditions.
High work ethic, with a sense of responsibility for the role filled within our team.
A successful candidate will have a flexible schedule, ability to work weekends and holidays.
Must be fluent in English and possess legal work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

Primarily work with the hot station (I.e., meat temperatures, cooking steaks, chicken, in depth prep of warm items, etc.)
Build inventory lists, as well as strategic overviews of preparation for the specific outlet
Rotate among different outlets depending on occupancy, events, and overall need of the resort
