About The Position

Charlie's Produce is seeking a PM Order Selector to fill customer orders in a refrigerated warehouse. The role involves using a voice pick system to move products from storage onto pallets, prepare orders for packing and truck loading, and verify order accuracy. The position works in a fast-paced environment and requires attention to safety, productivity, and quality. The schedule is Sunday through Friday, with split days off, starting at 5 p.m. and continuing until the work is done. A $1.00-per-hour shift differential is offered.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment of 35–45 degrees.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work without direct supervision and prioritize activities under pressure.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to actively engage in continuous improvement activities.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Ability to meet productivity expectations of 100–150 pieces picked per hour.
• Safety-focused approach and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders in a refrigerated warehouse using a voice pick system.
• Build pallets and prepare orders for delivery.
• Double-check orders for accuracy.
• Communicate inventory, stocking, racking, or equipment maintenance issues to supervisors.
• Work safely while handling boxes and operating equipment, and stack pallets carefully to help prevent accidents and injuries.
