About The Position

Hallcon is hiring a seasoned Dispatcher to support fast-paced commuter operations in Fremont, California. Hallcon is a rider experience company that provides transportation services across fixed-route, commuter, shuttle, on-demand, and microtransit modes. The role manages commuter and last-mile routes, on-demand services, driver schedules, and other assignments as needed to ensure routes are serviced safely and on time. It involves coordinating vehicle operations, communicating with clients and internal teams, supporting customer service and passenger safety, and responding to operational issues.

Requirements

Good communication skills and the ability to interact with riders and clients clearly, tactfully, and courteously.
Basic computer understanding and experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to perform well independently or in a team setting.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be qualified to work in the United States.
Three years of dispatching experience.
Ability to juggle various responsibilities and tasks while maintaining focus in an active environment.

Responsibilities

Provide direction, guidance, and information to vehicle operations.
Communicate with clients, the dispatch team, managers, and other suppliers about changes to regular activities.
Manage and enhance customer service and passenger safety.
Report vehicle deficiencies, accidents, and incidents as required.
Monitor traffic to avoid or reduce exposure to heavily congested areas.
Assist with accident investigations, reporting, filing, and corrective actions.
Coordinate daily rider flow.
Manage commuter and last-mile routes, on-demand services, driver schedules, and other assignments as needed.
