About The Position

Hallcon is hiring a seasoned Dispatcher to support fast-paced commuter operations in Fremont, California. The role manages commuter and last-mile routes, on-demand services, driver schedules, and other assignments to ensure routes are serviced safely and on time. The Dispatcher provides operational direction and information to vehicle operations, coordinates daily rider flow, and communicates with clients, the dispatch team, managers, and suppliers about changes to regular activities. The position also supports customer service and passenger safety, monitors traffic, reports vehicle deficiencies and incidents, and assists with accident investigations and corrective actions.

Requirements

Good communication skills and the ability to interact with riders and clients with clarity, tact, and courtesy.
Basic understanding of and experience with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to perform strongly independently or in a team setting.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be qualified to work in the United States.
Must have 3 years of dispatching experience.
Ability to juggle various responsibilities and tasks while maintaining focus in an active environment.

Responsibilities

Provide direction, guidance, and information to vehicle operations.
Communicate with clients, the dispatch team, managers, and other suppliers regarding changes to regular activities.
Manage and enhance customer service and passenger safety.
Report vehicular deficiencies, accidents, and incidents as required.
Monitor traffic to avoid or reduce exposure to heavily congested areas.
Assist in accident investigations, reporting, filing, and corrective actions.
Coordinate daily rider flow.
