About The Position

Hallcon is hiring a seasoned Dispatcher to support fast-paced commuter operations in Fremont, California. The role manages commuter and last-mile routes, on-demand services, driver schedules, and other assignments as needed to ensure routes are serviced safely and on time. The Dispatcher provides direction and information to vehicle operations, coordinates with clients and internal and external stakeholders, supports customer service and passenger safety, monitors traffic, and assists with incident response and rider flow.

Requirements

Good communication skills and the ability to interact with riders and clients clearly, tactfully, and courteously.
Basic understanding of and experience with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to perform independently or as part of a team.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be qualified to work in the United States.
Must have 3 years of dispatching experience.
Ability to handle various responsibilities and tasks while maintaining focus in an active environment.

Responsibilities

Provide direction, guidance, and information to vehicle operations.
Communicate with clients, the dispatch team, managers, and other suppliers regarding changes to regular activities.
Manage and enhance customer service and passenger safety.
Report vehicular deficiencies, accidents, and incidents as required.
Monitor traffic to avoid or reduce exposure to heavily congested areas.
Assist with accident investigations, reporting, filing, and corrective actions.
Coordinate daily rider flow.
Manage commuter and last-mile routes, on-demand services, driver schedules, and other assignments as needed.
