About The Position

Grogg’s Home Services, a NearU Company, is seeking a skilled, customer-focused Licensed Journeyman Plumber to provide residential plumbing services in Parkersburg, West Virginia. The technician diagnoses, repairs, and installs plumbing systems while following local codes and safety standards, communicating clearly with customers, and maintaining an efficient, clean, and professional work environment. The role includes ongoing training and is described as a stable, year-round position with growth opportunities.

Requirements

• Active Journeyman Plumber license.
• 3–5 years of residential plumbing experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and install residential plumbing systems, including water lines, drains, fixtures, and water heaters.
• Perform plumbing services in compliance with local plumbing codes and safety standards.
• Communicate with customers about issues and recommended solutions.
• Complete work orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with plumbing best practices and technology.
