About The Position

The Plumbing Installation Manager at Acree Plumbing & Air in Tampa, Florida, is a Salaried Exempt position with Bonus Eligibility, responsible for managing the Plumbing Install Team. Acree Plumbing & Air has been in business since 1967, servicing the Tampa community and surrounding counties including Pinellas, Pasco, some Polk, and Manatee. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in plumbing, construction management, or a related field preferred.
  • Extensive experience in plumbing installation, including hands-on experience with plumbing tasks.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of plumbing systems, components, and installation techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Minimum of 3 years proven management and/or sales experience in the Service Industry
  • Proven record in: Team Development, Sales/Operations, Customer Service
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite including proficient use of Excel and PowerPoint

  • Experience in the trades: HVAC, plumbing, electrical
  • Experience with Service Titan

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to determine plumbing installation project requirements, including scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Develop detailed project plans and schedules, assigning tasks to installation teams.
  • Procure necessary materials, equipment, and permits to support project execution.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor a team of plumbing installation technicians.
  • Ensure that installation teams are adequately staffed and equipped to meet project demands.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Establish and enforce quality control processes to ensure that installations meet industry standards and customer expectations.
  • Conduct inspections of completed installations to verify compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote and enforce a culture of safety among installation teams, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Conduct safety training and ensure the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) on job sites.
  • Develop and manage budgets for plumbing installation projects, tracking expenses and cost control measures.
  • Review and approve invoices related to installation services and materials.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and project updates.
  • Maintain clear and open communication channels to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues promptly.
  • Identify and address any issues or challenges that may arise during installation projects, working to find prompt and effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with technicians to troubleshoot complex plumbing system problems.
  • Maintain accurate records of installation projects, including project timelines, expenses, and equipment specifications.
  • Generate reports on project progress, performance, and post-project evaluations
  • Ensure safety best practices are followed in the field.
  • Other duties as assigned.
