About The Position

Any Hour Services is a family-owned residential service company specializing in plumbing, electric, heating, and air conditioning. The company has served homeowners since 1961 and offers year-round, consistent work and advancement opportunities. As a Plumbing Install Apprentice, you will support licensed plumbers and installers with water supply lines, drainage systems, and fixtures. You will carry tools, prepare work areas, and clean up while learning the plumbing trade. The role is field-based, with daily travel to residential and commercial job sites in the Phoenix area. Travel may be up to 25%.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with plumbing tools and materials.
Willingness to learn plumbing systems, codes, and installation best practices.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under supervision.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.
Ability to work indoors, outdoors, and sometimes in confined spaces or adverse conditions.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

Enrollment in or interest in a plumbing apprenticeship or trade school program.

Responsibilities

Assist plumbers with installing water supply lines, drainage systems, fixtures, and related components.
Prepare tools, equipment, and materials for daily projects and keep job sites clean and organized.
Perform basic measuring, cutting, threading, and pipe assembly tasks under supervision.
Learn to read and follow blueprints, schematics, and project instructions.
Maintain accurate job notes, time logs, and material usage records.
Ensure work complies with plumbing codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, supervisors, and teammates.
