About The Position
Fetch-A-Tech is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Plumbing Install Apprentice to work alongside experienced professionals and develop plumbing installation skills in a supportive, inclusive environment. The apprentice assists with residential plumbing installations and learns to perform accurate, high-quality work while following senior plumbers’ instructions, plumbing codes, safety standards, and company policies. The role involves field work at residential job sites, customer interaction, and operating tools and vehicles. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to follow instructions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds, climb, and work in confined spaces.
- Current, valid driver’s license in the state where the employee will work.
Responsibilities
- Assist with installing plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances, in residential settings.
- Follow senior plumbers’ instructions to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Learn to read blueprints and understand plumbing codes for accurate, timely installations.
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to help complete projects efficiently.
- Address customer questions and concerns professionally and provide exceptional customer service.
- Follow safety standards and company policies.
