About The Position
Benjamin Franklin Plumbing® and One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning® of Delaware & Marysville are hiring installers as sales grow. The openings include plumbing installers for Benjamin Franklin Plumbing® and HVAC installers for One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning®. Installers complete sold residential installation work rather than selling jobs. Top installers earn $100,000 or more annually; compensation is commission or hourly depending on the role, with details discussed during the interview. The companies provide training, uniforms, tools and technology, a company vehicle, and opportunities to grow into a lead installer.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of residential plumbing or HVAC installation experience.
- Take pride in clean, careful work.
- Be clean-cut, drug-free, and punctual.
- Have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- Plumbing license or EPA 608 certification.
- Excavation experience for plumbing work.
Responsibilities
- Install plumbing systems and equipment, including tank and tankless water heaters, water softeners and filtration systems, re-pipes, sewer and water line replacements, and excavation work.
- Install HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and indoor air quality systems, as well as complete change-outs.
- Install work to code, obtain and pass permits, and clean up the home after the work.
- Explain new equipment to homeowners and ask them for a review.
- Lead a helper on larger jobs.
