About The Position

Sierra Pacific Home & Comfort is hiring HVAC installers for residential retrofit work in the Greater Sacramento Region. Installers replace existing heating and air-conditioning units and ductwork in clients’ homes, following specifications and schedules prepared by pre-site engineers, design specialists, and operations teams. Installers work on teams of two or three and are provided with the tools, equipment, and resources needed to complete installations. The role calls for careful, professional work and a commitment to customer service, integrity, and excellence. The posting offers full-time or part-time work and pay of $60,000 to $100,000+ annually.

Requirements

Mechanical aptitude.
Ability to work in hot, cold, or wet weather conditions.
Ability to crawl in tight spaces and climb ladders.
Integrity and ability to promote a positive company image.
Ability to provide exceptional customer service at job sites and exceed customer expectations.
Ability to perform physically demanding daily tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
Results-driven approach in a high-energy environment.

Must be able to work in a drug-free workplace.

Responsibilities

Replace existing HVAC systems and ductwork in residential homes.
Perform all aspects of HVAC system replacement and work with knowledge of city codes.
Design duct systems for optimal comfort and efficiency.
Communicate with customers about the work being performed and explain how to use new systems.
Maintain job knowledge through internal and/or external educational opportunities.
Lead installers train apprentice installation technicians on the job.
Work overtime and weekends if needed.
