About The Position

Brown Heating, Cooling & Plumbing and Venice Cooling, Heating & Plumbing are hiring motivated, sales-driven residential HVAC Service & Maintenance Technicians for their growing teams in Southwest Florida. The role offers performance-driven compensation with $100,000+ annual earning potential and a $1,000 sign-on bonus. Technicians receive approximately 3–5 customer appointments per day and are expected to diagnose and repair systems, explain solutions to homeowners, and identify appropriate opportunities for repairs, replacements, and comfort upgrades. The position features no late-night service calls and minimal on-call requirements, along with flexible scheduling and opportunities for career advancement.

Requirements

3–5+ years of residential HVAC service experience.
Strong diagnostic skills with refrigerant systems, electrical components, airflow, and system performance.
Comfort recommending and presenting solutions.
Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with homeowners.
Self-motivated, competitive, and financially driven.
Ability to work independently and manage daily appointments.
Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
Commitment to honest recommendations and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Run approximately 3–5 residential HVAC service and maintenance appointments daily.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems.
Identify and recommend system replacements, ductwork improvements, indoor air quality solutions, surge protection, and other comfort upgrades.
Present repair and replacement options confidently and professionally.
Educate homeowners about solutions that improve comfort, efficiency, reliability, and air quality.
Build trust with customers and maximize legitimate sales opportunities on every call.
Maintain accurate service documentation and a clean, professional company vehicle.
