About The Position

ARS-Rescue Rooter is hiring a Plumbing Drain Tech to provide drain cleaning and unclogging services to residential and commercial customers. The role involves diagnosing drain issues, explaining them clearly to customers, presenting solution options, and obtaining approval before completing work. The technician operates drain cleaning equipment, high-pressure jetters, and pipe inspection cameras; maintains and stocks a take-home service vehicle; tracks tools; and completes service documentation accurately. The position offers various day shifts and year-round, full-time work.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
• Ability to perform drain cleaning using small to large equipment.
• Skill in removing and resetting toilets and p-traps.
• Strong customer communication and service skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide drain cleaning and unclogging services for residential and commercial customers.
• Explain diagnosed issues clearly, present solution options, and obtain approval before performing work.
• Operate drain cleaning machines, high-pressure jetters, and pipe inspection cameras.
• Maintain and stock the service vehicle and ensure proper tool tracking.
• Complete service documentation accurately.
