About The Position

The Plumbing and Sewer Sales Representative is responsible for generating sales by identifying customer needs, presenting plumbing and sewer solutions, and closing service agreements. This role requires strong communication, technical knowledge, and the ability to build trust with residential and commercial clients.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in an inside or outside sales
  • Previous drain/sewer plumbing experience
  • A mechanical and technical aptitude
  • Clean, safe driving record
  • Highly organized
  • Strong verbal and written communications.
  • High integrity, exceptional communication, and social skills.
  • Proven ability to make solid customer connections an relate with customers positively.
  • Strong desire to improve professionally.
  • Team player
  • Successful track record as a sale closer
  • Show enthusiasm and support for the company, culture and team
  • Outgoing personality with a strong orientation toward customer service and team building
  • Must retain a high level of flexibility and resourceful problem solving

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-home and on-site sales consultations for plumbing and sewer services
  • Complete inspection of customer’s sewer lines and drains using a video recording monitor and camera
  • Assess customer needs, inspect plumbing/sewer systems, and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Present and explain repair, replacement, and maintenance options clearly to customers
  • Prepare and present detailed service estimates and proposals
  • Collaborate with field technicians to ensure smooth project execution
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales goals while maintaining high customer satisfaction
  • Understand your service criteria and hold yourself accountable for exceeding revenue goals
  • Educate customers on preventive maintenance, service plans, and financing options
  • Track leads opportunities, and sales activities in CRM or company systems
