About The Position

Mr. Rooter Plumbing serves homes and businesses across Lake, McHenry, and Cook Counties. The company has a busy schedule and offers commission-only compensation of $55,000–$95,000 per year, with earnings tied to completed work. This full-time position includes some Saturdays and participation in a shared on-call rotation. The company provides coaching and training, with an opportunity for a drain technician to grow into a full-service technician. Requirements

• Hold an Illinois plumbing license, or have at least one year of professional drain cleaning or plumbing experience.
• Have a valid driver's license and an insurable driving record.
• Have a customer-first attitude and good communication skills.
• Be able to lift heavy equipment.
• Be available to work some Saturdays and participate in the on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Clear drains and main lines, run cameras, and jet sewer lines.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing problems if licensed.
• Explain problems and available options to customers clearly and honestly.
• Keep the company truck stocked and job notes accurate.
• Work some Saturdays and participate in the shared on-call rotation.
