About The Position

Roto-Rooter is hiring full-time Drain Service Technicians and provides a paid training program. After training, technicians can expect to earn between $50,000 and $60,000 in their first year. No prior experience is necessary. The role may suit people with backgrounds in building maintenance, construction, lawn care, pest control, or similar work, and is also presented as an opportunity for military veterans. It operates company-owned branches, independent contractor territories, and franchise operations across the United States and parts of Canada.

Requirements

Valid driver's license.
Effective communication skills.
Mechanical aptitude and solid problem-solving skills are desirable; prior experience is not necessary.

Nice To Haves

Experience in building maintenance, construction, lawn care, pest control, or similar work.
Military veteran or personnel transitioning to a civilian profession.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot residential and commercial sewer and drain problems and provide solutions.
Clear blockages in plumbing systems.
Clean drains and sewers using company-provided equipment and tools.
Document estimates and invoices in writing and on a company-provided smartphone.
