About The Position

Turning Stone Resort is hiring a Plumber to maintain essential systems that keep the resort operating, including boilers, water and sewer lines, sewage treatment systems, sprinkler systems, hot water loops, and equipment associated with pools, spas, hot tubs, and showers. This hands-on role includes installing, operating, inspecting, and maintaining plumbing systems and equipment; welding, brazing, and soldering; and operating pipe jetters and cameras. The position pays $23.00 to $28.75 per hour. A day shift is available from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with schedules of Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday.

Requirements

High school diploma or high school equivalency diploma.
Valid New York State driver’s license.
3–5 years of related experience.
Excellent oral and written communication skills; diplomacy and objectivity; attention to detail; and the ability to thrive in a multitasking environment.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 71–80 pounds.

Responsibilities

Maintain, install, operate, and inspect boilers, water and sewer lines, sewage treatment systems, sprinkler systems, and hot water loops.
Maintain equipment associated with the safe and proper operation of pools, spas, hot tubs, and showers.
Perform welding, brazing, and soldering using proper techniques.
Use plumbing tools and operate pipe jetters and cameras.
