About The Position

As a Commercial Technician, you will assist with service calls and manage the overall upkeep of commercial facilities. You will complete assigned work orders efficiently and to resort standards, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment, and perform scheduled preventive maintenance. The role also involves light plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs. Applicants with a range of experience are welcome, although related experience is highly preferred. The work is primarily daytime and takes place on site in a resort environment, including work in varied weather and at heights.

Requirements

• Excellent work references.
• High school diploma or equivalent GED.
• At least 18 years of age due to the equipment and general work environment.
• Must be able to handle confidential information.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good to excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Attention to detail, particularly in refrigeration and HVAC troubleshooting.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to move and lift objects, climb and work on ladders from 6 to 20 feet, stand for most of the shift, and frequently reach, bend, and stoop.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds over short to medium distances.
• Ability to work on site and in all-weather conditions and at heights.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of refrigeration maintenance experience.
• Prior experience in a related field.

Responsibilities
