About The Position

RQ is seeking skilled Commercial Plumbers to join its Mechanical team supporting ongoing work at Kings Bay Naval Base in Georgia and surrounding areas. All work will be performed on a military installation and is compensated in accordance with Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements specific to the base. The role involves fabricating and installing plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment on active construction sites. Plumbers apply technical mechanical knowledge to ensure work complies with applicable codes and standards, using proper tools, equipment, and safety practices in alignment with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values. RQ, LLC has been a provider in the commercial and government Design-Build industry since 1996. It manages projects nationwide and specializes in fast-track, new commercial construction for public and private clients, with a primary focus on the Department of Defense market.

Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D. is the minimum education required.
At least 4 years, or equivalent, of field or trade work experience as a journey-level plumber in a commercial or facilities operations setting is required.
Provide evidence of identity and U.S. work authorization at the time of hire.
Successfully pass a drug screening and commercial criminal background check, including a stricter Department of Defense background check for access to the military-base job site, if applicable.

Nice To Haves

Government, military, or large commercial construction experience is preferred.
