About The Position
As a member of the Defined Fitness Play Team, the Play Team Member interacts with and ensures the safety of children while club members use the facility. The role involves maintaining a safe, fun, and clean environment for young children and creating creative, educational activities.
Requirements
- Experience working with children ages 10 months to 12 years.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Valid infant and child CPR/AED certification by the first day of employment, maintained throughout employment.
- PC literacy, including Microsoft Office and products such as ABC Ignite.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children during play activities to ensure safety and encourage positive interactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the play area, including regularly sanitizing toys and equipment.
- Assist visitors by providing information about play programs, schedules, and facility rules.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and implement creative play sessions and special events.
- Respond promptly and effectively to safety concerns or incidents, following established protocols.
- Adhere to safety rules and guidelines, including zero tolerance for phone usage, and take necessary precautions to ensure the safety of children in the Kids Club.
