Platform Engineer
About The Position
Fusion Technology is seeking a Security-cleared Professional with an active DOD Secret Clearance for a Platform Engineer position located in Washington, DC (onsite). The role requires a Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of related experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and executing project plans, creating technical specifications, maintaining system operations and sustainment, designing and developing test cases, adopting Agile methodologies for software development, analyzing existing systems for improvements, monitoring system performance with predictive maintenance, and performing system risk and reliability analysis with a strong DevSecOps focus. Additionally, significant experience in building and deploying infrastructure using cloud deployment technologies and working with Scrum or Agile development methodologies is essential.

- Bachelor's Degree
- 8+ years of related experience
- Eight (8) or more years of experience developing and executing project plans
- Eight (8) or more years of experience creating technical specifications
- Eight (8) or more years of experience maintaining the operation and sustainment of systems
- Eight (8) or more years of experience designing and developing test cases
- Eight (8) or more years of experience adopting Agile methodologies to develop software
- Eight (8) or more years of experience analyzing existing systems to provide recommendations for improvement
- Eight (8) or more years of experience monitoring system performance and performing predictive maintenance
