About The Position

APAC Central Inc., a CRH company, is seeking a Plant Oiler for night shifts in Tulsa, OK. This role is responsible for lubricating all moving parts of mechanical equipment. APAC-Central, Inc. and its founding companies have been serving customers since the early 20th Century and look forward to continued success. The company produces and provides crushed aggregate materials, sand, ready-mix concrete, asphalt, and performs as a regional heavy highway/infrastructure construction firm serving Arkansas, Oklahoma, and southern Missouri.

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Frequently required to climb, balance, and perform tasks involving physical agility.
• Regularly sit, climb, and use hand signals or equipment; occasionally stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, or reach above shoulder height.
• Lift and move objects weighing up to 25-50 lbs. as needed.
• Work primarily outdoors, often in extreme weather and environmental conditions.
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions; exposed to jobsite hazards such as moving machinery, high places, airborne particles, and loud environments.
• Must have specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, to operate equipment safely.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work with management.
• Ability to communicate with others and to assimilate and understand information, in a manner consistent with the essential job functions.
• Demonstrated, effective skills in dealing with employees at all levels.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to work with suppliers.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks effectively with a focus on timeliness and responsiveness.
• Capable of utilizing the internet effectively for research and evaluation.
• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Changes oils, greases, filters, and refuels equipment.
• Uses grease guns to force grease into bearings, will pack grease cups by hand.
• May assist mechanic in assembling, setting up, adjusting, maintaining and repairing all types of Quarry plant equipment.
• May when servicing equipment, drive a truck which carries fuels, oils, and greases.
