About The Position
Garden City Hospital is seeking a Plant Engineer/Building Maintenance professional to help maintain a safe working environment at the hospital. The role maintains accurate logs on hospital equipment and maintains and repairs equipment and systems, including mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas systems. Driving is required as needed for company business.
Requirements
- Able to troubleshoot and read schematics and/or blueprints.
- Valid current state driver's license.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum 0–1 years of healthcare experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate logs on all hospital equipment.
- Provide for a safe working environment.
- Maintain and repair mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas equipment and systems.
