About The Position

Interfor is hiring a Swing Shift Planer Production team member in Port Angeles, Washington. The starting rate is $25.34 per hour, based on skill level and experience, with a shift differential. The schedule is Monday through Thursday. The role supports mill operations by maintaining assigned areas, helping keep lumber flowing through the mill, and following safety policies and procedures, including an absolute lock-out/tag-out policy.

The position requires walking, standing, sitting, climbing stairs, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Candidates should be willing to work all days and shifts, including evenings and weekends, and demonstrate flexibility, personal responsibility, effective communication, and a commitment to teamwork and workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Complete clean-up and ground maintenance of assigned areas.
• Safely assist in maintaining a steady flow of lumber throughout the mill.
• Perform duties in any area as needed to keep the mill operating.
• Perform all work in accordance with Interfor's safety policies and standards.
• Adhere to the company's lock-out/tag-out policy.
