About The Position

The Pizza Hut Crew Member creates an exceptional guest experience by preparing quality food, providing friendly service, and maintaining a clean and organized restaurant. Team members may greet guests, take orders, prepare pizzas and other menu items, and help keep kitchen operations running efficiently. The role follows Pizza Hut recipes and quality standards, as well as food safety, sanitation, and food-handling procedures. The position requires a rotating schedule that includes days, afternoons, rotating weekends, and some holidays.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age.
Ability to work a rotating schedule that includes days, afternoons, rotating weekends, and some holidays.
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to maintain positive working relationships with guests and fellow team members.
Ability to stand and walk for 4 to 8 hour shifts.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to bend, reach, twist, and move throughout the shift.
Ability to operate kitchen equipment and point-of-sale systems safely.
Ability to perform food preparation, stocking, cleaning, and guest service duties.
Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude; take orders accurately, answer questions, recommend menu items, and provide prompt, courteous service.
Prepare pizzas and other menu items according to Pizza Hut recipes and quality standards, maintaining food presentation, portion control, and freshness.
Follow food safety, sanitation, quality, and food-handling procedures; prepare orders accurately and in a timely manner.
Operate the point-of-sale system and process guest transactions accurately.
Restock food, beverages, and supplies throughout shifts.
Assist with opening, closing, stocking, and cleaning responsibilities.
Help maintain inventory and rotate products using First In, First Out (FIFO) practices.
Keep food preparation areas, dining areas, equipment, and workstations clean and organized.
Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude throughout each shift.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
