About The Position

The Pizza Host is responsible for preparing pizza, Stromboli, calzones, and other products. The role includes preparing daily pizzas and specials, helping customers place pizza orders, preparing packaged products, and rotating shelves. The position is full-time and hourly, with an estimated pay range of $17.75–$18.25 depending on qualifications and experience. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent and 1 to 3 years of experience.
• Knowledge of food preparation.
• Ability to safely use and operate knives, ovens, scales, wrapping machines, steamers, mixers, and other equipment required for kitchen operations.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good oral communication skills.
• Great work ethic, passion for food, problem-solving ability, self-motivation, reliability, flexibility, and honesty.
• Ability to meet the position’s physical demands, including frequent standing and walking, occasional pulling, pushing, squatting, reaching, and lifting up to 40 pounds.

• Pizza-making experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily pizzas and specials.
• Assist customers with pizza ordering.
• Prepare prepackaged pizza and other products for customers.
• Rotate shelves.
• Greet customers with a friendly smile and positive attitude, ensuring they feel welcome and appreciated.
• Collaborate with team members and offer assistance and support where needed.
• Help improve and maintain store efficiency.
• Represent the store’s S.T.E.W. values in interactions with customers and team members.
