About The Position
Stew Leonard’s is hiring a part-time Pizza Baker to prepare pizza, stromboli, calzones, and other products. The role includes preparing pizza for the day, helping customers in the department, preparing packaged products, and rotating shelves. The position involves working in a family-oriented fresh food store and providing friendly customer service while collaborating with team members.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 to 3 years of experience.
- Knowledge of food preparation.
- Ability to safely use and operate knives, ovens, scales, wrapping machines, steamers, mixers, and other equipment required for daily kitchen operations.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Good oral communication skills.
- Great work ethic, passion for food, problem-solving ability, self-motivation, reliability, flexibility, and honesty.
Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza for the day.
- Assist customers within the department.
- Prepare prepackaged pizza and other products for customers.
- Rotate shelves.
- Greet customers with a friendly smile and positive attitude.
- Collaborate with team members and offer assistance and support where needed.
- Help improve and maintain store efficiency.
- Represent the store’s S.T.E.W. values in interactions with customers and team members.
