About The Position

COTY is seeking a PIT Operator at its Sanford, North Carolina distribution center to support internal warehousing and distribution operations. The role involves processing inbound inventory, supporting customer and consumer orders, and meeting external storage and assembly needs through accurate inventory transactions, timely material movement, and safe operation of material-handling equipment. The operator ensures orders are properly picked, staged, and loaded according to customer requirements.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Previous PIT driving experience.
• Ability to achieve forklift certification.
• Ability to read and follow detailed instructions and procedures.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed labor standards and KPIs.
• Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement.
• Follow Coty's safety rules and procedures.
• Accurately and efficiently receive, transport, pick, or label cartons and shipments according to customer shipping requirements.
• Transfer inventory between storage locations throughout the facility, following procedures to ensure accurate inventory transfers.
• Load containers according to customer requirements detailed on the dock placard.
• Unload containers efficiently to expedite receiving.
• Perform BOSS audits as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
