About The Position

As a Highbay PIT Operator at GXO, you will help provide supply chain solutions for customers by operating powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers, using handheld scanning equipment, supporting trailer loading and unloading, and performing inbound receiving. The position is scheduled Tuesday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The posting also lists off days as Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, which conflicts with the stated Tuesday–Friday schedule.

The role requires safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks, schedule flexibility including overtime when needed, and the physical ability to handle warehouse tasks and work in hot or cold conditions. A resume is required. Applicants who receive a conditional offer may be required to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Requirements

• Be trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks.
• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed.
• Submit a resume.
• Be able to frequently lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift more than 75 pounds.
• Be able to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights.
• Be able to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull.
• Be able to stand, sit, or walk for long periods.
• Be able to handle or manage tools or equipment.
• Be able to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

Nice To Haves

• One year of warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack, or move products, equipment, and materials.
• Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy.
• Load and unload trailers as needed.
• Follow the 7S program and maintain a clean environment.
• Demonstrate a commitment to process excellence.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the Supply Chain quality policy.
• Perform inbound receiving processes.
