About The Position

The Forklift Operator supports GXO’s supply chain operations by operating powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to move products, equipment, and materials. The role also involves accurate handheld scanner use, trailer loading and unloading, inbound receiving, maintaining a clean work environment, and following GXO’s process and quality standards. The position is scheduled for a weekend day shift, Saturday through Monday, from 5:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Resumes are required.

Requirements

• Be trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks.
• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently and more than 75 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods.
• Ability to handle or manage tools or equipment.
• Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of warehouse experience.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack, or move products, equipment, and materials.
• Use a handheld scanner accurately.
• Load and unload trailers as needed.
• Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment.
• Demonstrate commitment to process excellence.
• Demonstrate understanding of the Supply Chain quality policy.
• Perform inbound receiving processes.
