About The Position

Ole is seeking a reliable company route driver to transport tortillas and related materials to grocery stores according to a route schedule. The driver will handle pickups and deliveries, maintain travel and work-hour records, inspect the vehicle daily, and ensure that delivery addresses and transportation details are accurate. The role also includes loading and unloading products, merchandising, and using handheld devices and printers to create invoices and credits. This is not a remote or hybrid position.

Requirements

Must be 23 years of age or older.
Valid driver’s license.
Clean driving record.
Sound knowledge of road safety regulations.
Working knowledge of local roads and routes.
Ability to use maps, GPS systems, and car manuals.
Effective communication skills.
Punctual and reliable.
Experience with handheld devices and printers for creating invoices and credits.
Knowledge of Direct Store Delivery (DSD) to grocery stores, including chain and independent stores.
Ability to load and unload delivery vehicles.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED is preferred.
Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

Safely transport company products (tortillas) and materials, including cardboard displays, to and from specified locations in a timely manner.
Deliver and pick up products at grocery stores according to a route schedule.
Load products from the warehouse and unload them at customer accounts.
Assist with loading and offloading products and materials.
Merchandise products.
Use handheld devices and printers to create invoices and credits.
Adjust travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction.
Perform daily vehicle inspections and keep the company vehicle clean and properly maintained, including washing, cleaning, and routine maintenance.
Maintain accurate records of work hours, travel time, locations traveled, and vehicle movements.
Promptly inform the company of tickets issued against the company vehicle during work hours.
Park the company vehicle only in areas where parking is permitted.
Report accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management.
