About The Position
Accompany musical theater vocalists ages 15+ in an intensive workshop environment covering classes, mock auditions, master classes, rehearsals, and the final showcase. This is a student employment opportunity with expected hours of 20 per week from August 10-14, 2026. The hourly rate is $17.51.
Requirements
- Current student at Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee.
- Enrolled at least half-time in a degree, diploma, or certificate-seeking undergraduate or graduate program (or pre-registered for the upcoming fall semester if only working in the summer).
- Have a valid United States Social Security Number (SSN).
- Remain in “valid” Visa status as applicable.
- A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA (first-semester students are exempt until they have a GPA).
- Federal Work Study student may apply.
- In good disciplinary standing.
- Must be located in the U.S.
- Strong sight-reader with extensive experience playing for musical theater auditions, rehearsals, and performances.
- Wide availability across days and evenings, August 10–14, 2026.
Nice To Haves
- A genuine passion for the musical theater genre is ideal.
- Ratings ideally of 5 or above for sight-reading (the first number).
