About The Position

Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a full-time (0.8 FTE) board-certified or board-eligible physician to work at Wellstar Urgent Care - Paulding in Austell, Georgia. The physician will provide urgent care to patients ranging from newborns to geriatric patients and work 12 shifts per month. Clinical procedures include incision and drainage, suturing minor lacerations, and foreign body removal.

Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible.
• Active or eligible for a Georgia State Medical License.
• 1–2 years of experience in urgent care or emergency medicine.
• Certification in family medicine or emergency medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care to patients from newborns through geriatric age.
• Work 12 shifts per month.
• Perform incision and drainage, suture minor lacerations, and remove foreign bodies.
