About The Position

Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a full-time (0.8 FTE), board-certified or board-eligible physician for Wellstar Urgent Care - Paulding in Austell, Georgia. The physician will provide urgent care to patients from newborns through geriatric age and work 12 shifts per month. The role includes procedures such as incision and drainage, suturing minor lacerations, and foreign body removal.

Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible.
• Active or eligible for a Georgia State Medical License.
• 1–2 years of experience in urgent care or emergency medicine.
• Certification in family medicine or emergency medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to patients ranging from newborns to geriatric patients.
• Work 12 shifts per month.
