Northside Hospital is seeking a dedicated Family Medicine Faculty Member to join their growing team within the Family Medicine GME Program. The program has expanded to 24 residents, reflecting its success. The faculty, comprising Doctors of Osteopathic and Allopathic Medicine, are committed to providing residents and fellows with high-quality clinical experience and medical training. Northside offers ACGME-approved postgraduate programs including Internal Medicine, Categorical Positions, Family Medicine Categorical Positions, Transitional Year Program, and a Sports Medicine Fellowship. Requirements

  • DO degree
  • Completion of an accredited Family Medicine program
  • BC|BE in Family Medicine
  • DEA certification
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Georgia or the ability to obtain one
  • Licensed and eligible to practice in Georgia
  • Unrestricted DEA Registration

Nice To Haves

  • 5 years of teaching experience and experience in graduate medical education administration
  • 2 years' experience in family medicine education
  • Advanced knowledge of clinical ultrasound use in musculoskeletal medicine

Responsibilities

  • Provide ambulatory and inpatient care.
  • Provide procedural training for fellows and residents.
  • Maintain the program's Osteopathic recognition.
