About The Position

The Physician serves as a health-care professional who handles a variety of health-related problems. The work involves moderately complex to complex issues requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors. This is a part-time opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Primary Care Physician, typically 2–3 days a week or as needed, with flexible scheduling while contributing to high-quality outpatient care. The role focuses on outpatient medicine, continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention. The Physician maintains medical histories and records and refers patients to specialists as needed.

The Physician begins to influence department strategy, makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approaches for project components, and works without direction. The role exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. This is a patient-facing role and part of Humana/Senior Bridge’s tuberculosis screening program; selected candidates are required to undergo TB screening.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Five or more years of technical experience.
• Meet the licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction.
• Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program at an accredited university.
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
• Must undergo tuberculosis screening if selected for the role.
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.

• Internal Medicine specialty preferred.
