About The Position

Essentia Health – Fargo, North Dakota is seeking a board certified or board eligible Urologist to join their esteemed and dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity within a stable, clinician-led organization that values excellence and collaboration. The position offers competitive compensation, a supportive team environment with 2 Urologists and 4 Nurse Practitioners, and a balanced workload with admissions managed by the hospitalist service and a manageable call schedule of 1:4. The role benefits from dedicated block time of 2-3 days per week, supported by a well-trained and efficient OR staff. Advanced Practice Providers assist in the OR and help manage hospital patients. The facility is a Level II Trauma Center with state-of-the-art equipment including 2 Da Vinci Robots, 120-Watt Holmium Laser, Thulium, Rezum Therapy, Holep, MRI Prostate Guided Biopsy, and Urodynamics. The clinic, ER, OR, and hospital are all within the same facility, ensuring seamless patient care. There is a robust referral network from a large health system with 25 clinics and 5 hospitals in the regional service area.

Responsibilities

Manage hospital patients with assistance from Advanced Practice Providers.
Participate in a call schedule of 1:4.
Provide comprehensive care utilizing advanced technology and cutting-edge equipment.
